Brilliantly Balanced
My Story
Life has not always come easy. I have spent many nights laying awake worried about how I would get through the following day. I am a busy, widow mother of 3 and I understand how precious time can be. After losing my husband without warning I decided that I needed to find help to support my children who were dealing with the loss of their father. I quickly reilized that the services in our community were difficult to access due to long wait times. I then decided to educate myself and learn how to support my children so they would not have to suffer alone. I am now offering my supports to other family's in hopes to add some calmness to lifestyles.
Dealing with trauma can be really tough. It's like carrying a heavy weight on your shoulders that never seems to go away. Sometimes it feels like the world is crashing down around you and there's nothing you can do about it. But you're not alone in this. Lots of people have gone through traumatic experiences and have found ways to cope. One thing that can help is talking to someone you trust, whether it's a friend, family member or counselor. They can offer support and advice on how to deal with what you're going through. It's also important to take care of yourself during this time. Try to get enough sleep, eat well, exercise and engage in activities that bring you joy. This can help reduce stress and make it easier to handle difficult emotions. Remember that healing takes time and it's okay to take things at your own pace. Be kind to yourself and don't give up hope – things will eventually get better.
